Hi, I'm Sheka — founder of Sheek Quality Hair, and honestly, I'm just a woman who said yes to God's plan.

I didn't always see myself here. I spent years working in healthcare, earning my Master's Degree in Business, and building a path toward becoming a healthcare manager. I was driven, focused, and working hard toward a goal I thought was mine.

But God had something else in mind.

Here's what I knew about myself long before Sheek existed: I am the one who does everybody's hair. Late nights on my off days, I was doing my sister's hair, my nieces' hair for holidays, birthdays, and weekends — and my mother's hair, whose hair I helped grow back after she struggled with hair loss from lupus, through protective styling and sew-ins. Watching her hair come back, watching her confidence return — that was everything. I have always loved making people feel good. Giving a full experience that comes from love.

I've always changed my hair, always cared deeply about how I presented myself. Self-care wasn't a trend for me — it was a value. A way of honoring who God made me to be.

But I'll be honest — I spent a lot of hours in that mirror. Hours that came at a cost. Time away from my three boys. Weekends that slipped by. And I prayed — genuinely prayed — for more time with my children and a way to help people that felt like me.

God answered that prayer. Just not the way I expected.

When I started providing ready-to-wear wigs, something clicked. It felt natural. It felt right. Like I could do it all day — and some days, I do. Because this isn't just a business. This is my calling. Every wig I send out is one less hour a woman spends away from her kids, her family, her life. And that matters to me deeply — because I know exactly what that time is worth.

I'm a wife. A mother of three boys who keep me on my toes every single day. I'm juggling motherhood, marriage, and building something from the ground up — and I show up anyway. Because I know that on the other side of every order, there's a woman just like me who needed this.

I don't always know where this journey is going. But I serve a big God. And I know He chose me for this.
